Right now it is 21 degrees and snowing with a very strong north wind. Yesterday, even up until midnight last night, it was 70 degrees with a strong warm humid south tropical wind. What a change!
Getting sick is so humbling. I so rarely get sick (can't remember the last time!). I think I haven't been sick for at least three years. I came down with bronchitis and it kept me home three days in bed, sleeping the majority of the whole day. Being sick makes you feel so insignificant but it's probably a good reminder that you are not what you do, but who you are. You and I are children of God. Sick or healthy, productive or "temporarily incapacitated", we are who we are and that is oh so good!
